World of Warcraft: Guide for a 19 Twink Rogue

August 23rd 2010 03:36

Every so often in World of Warcraft it happens, boredom sets in. Maybe you have grown tired of the same raids every night or have become frustrated when going up against opponents whose equipment outclasses you. This guide to creating a 19 Twink Rogue could be the perfect solution to bring that spark back and allow you to enjoy the game.

Race
In World of Warcraft, everyone has their own opinions on what is the best race for a Rogue, especially when it comes to making a Twink character. Despite what they may say, the success you have in Warsong Gulch which largely depends upon your ability in the game and not what race you selected.

Talents
One area you need to focus on when building your Twink Rogue is your Talent build. There are two primary talent builds that have proven to be successful in Warsong Gulch.

The first one involves the following talent selections; 3 points in Master of Deception, 2 points in Opportunity, 2 points in Dirty Tricks, and 3 points in Improved Gouge. The idea with this Talent Build centers on your Rogue’s ability to stun his opponents to gain the upper-hand. This build works best for a Rogue that is using two swords or maces.

The second build involves the following talent selections; 5 points in Malice, 3 points in Puncture Wounds, and 2 points in Opportunity. The purpose of this Twink build is to maximize the damage from your Ambush and Backstab abilities. Make sure you have your Rogue equipped with the best daggers you can find if you want to see large critical strikes on your opponents.

Professions
A must have profession for your Twink Rogue is Herbalism because you will receive two benefits. First you will be able to make decent money selling the herbs on the auction house but most importantly you will be able to achieve the ability Lifeblood when you earned 225 skills points. This heal over time ability can prove to be a life saver in the battleground, but make sure to use it wisely because of the three minute cooldown.

Equipment
The best thing to do for your 19 Twink Rogue is to make sure to complete runs in the Wailing Caverns and the Deadmines. If you are able to combine this with the items you can purchase off the Auction House, you will be ready to own your opponents in the battlegrounds.

You can put the finishing touches on your equipment by adding enchantments to your gear. On each weapon, you should add the 15 Agility to help increase your attack power. Otherwise it is advisable to add the Stamina bonus to every available piece of arm. Remember the more health, the easier it will be to take down your opponent whose health bar is a fraction of yours.
