Metal Gear Solid 4! Coming June 12!!!

Snake

Hello SNAKE! And welcome to the PlayStation 3!

After 3 extremely successful titles in the past Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns and Patriots is now the title that completes and wraps up the well known series on the power of the PS3. Interestingly enough, it seems as if the character, Snake, himself has aged with the game. Being old with wrinkles and white hair, Snake seems to represent the end of the series with his own physical health. This time, Snake is needed to take part in one last mission to assassinate Liquid Ocelot.

MGS4

Even though the game is set in the middle east, the conflict in this game has no correlation to conflict between nations, but rather between private organizations about resources and money. This leads to unethical battle grounds, and therefore your surroundings will be full of explosions and warfare. What makes this environment even more fun is that MGS4 introduces a lot more of an opportunity of free movement. With this you will also be able to have more of a relationship with certain groups of 'freedom fighters' as you may call them. You can get them to trust you and so therefore they will help you, or they can distrust you and become a threat.

Snake's stealth, and fun sneaky-assassin abilities in the game are also abundant. He has a new suit which makes him camouflage with his surroundings if he is standing still for a short amount of time, this piece of equipment doesn't come without more intelligent guards though. As for killing his enemies, the usual choking, hitting, grappling, shocking, and stabbing are still available, as well as having guns to shoot baddies of course BUT not if the gun belongs to a dead baddy. If you pick up those, they will sell into some sort of "Snake only" currency which you can use in the future to buy accessories, guns, and other cool things. Yet Snake will also be able to use heavy weapons found on the battle field such as mortars, to blow whatever you want up. Snake also comes with gauges which represent him mentally, or physically, but to a gamer lets them recognize whether Snake is ready to do what you ask him, or if he is too tired, or worn out. Remember he's old. These gauges are affected by what actions you make Snake do, and how much effort he used to do them. Snake will need some taking care of.

MGS4

Like each 'new' Metal Gear Solid, the game carries on most of the previous game's unique game play and style but adds so much more. This game is highly anticipated by so many fans, and i believe none of them will be let down.

I recommend that all PS3 owners look into this game and raise your awareness of it's release!
