Diablo 3 Not Out Until 2012?

Blizzard has been having a busy year. First they have the release of Starcraft 2 then they have been busy working on the World of Warcraft Expansion: Cataclysm, it should come as no surprise that the release date of Diablo 3 is up in the air.
Why some folks have been hoping and offering up sacrifices that Diablo 3 would be released in 2010, it looks like they are going to be spending some time waiting.
According to a Tweet from Blizzard, they mentioned the following
"Also, who said Diablo III was coming out in 2011?"
While this does hint at a 2012 release, there are some who are hoping this means Diablo 3 will be out at Christmas time. My guess would be on the 2010 release.
Especially considering the successful Diablo 2 was released back in 2000 and it has taken this long to get to this stage in the game.
Personally I would rather them wait and make sure Diablo 3 is fine tuned and polished before they release it for sale.
