Arms Warrior Changes in World of Warcraft Cataclysm Expansion

The arrival of the World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm, means new areas to explore but also major changes when it comes to the talent system and the way you play your Arms Warrior.
For starters, Blizzard has made the decision to change how the statistics of our characters are figured out. They removed Block value from shields, Weapon skill, and Defense from the game. Warriors should know that they also changed how Parry works. It will no longer speed up your attack and does not provide 100% avoidance.
Another big change for the Warrior class is that your character will take on a more specialized role within your talent tree instead of seeing variations.
When your Warrior reaches level 10, you will be given the choice of which Talent tree you wish you specialize in; from Arms, Fury, and Protection.
Once you make your selection, you will be locked into the Talent tree until you spend 31 Talent points. The only way to change this would be if you paid to have your Talents unlearned at your Class trainer.
As an Arms Warrior will receive the talent Mortal Strike and be given the ability to specialize in two-handed weapons, no more dual wield Arms Warriors.
The Arms Talent tree was altered by Blizzard to help keep them in line with the other classes. In the first tier of talents you will see a new talent, Field Dressing, that is going to increase the self healing of Enraged Regeneration, Blood Craze, Second Wind, and Bloodthirst by 10/20% and all healing by 3/6%.There is also War Academy which is going to increase the damage dished out by Heroic Strike, Victory Rush or Slam.
Blizzard made a nice change to Impale on the Arms Warrior second tier talents. It will now specifically increase the critical strike damage of Mortal Strike, Slam, and Execute by 10/20%. Another interesting talent added to the Arms Talent tree is Lambs to the Slaughter. This talent will give your Arms Warrior an increased attack speed by 12/24/36% after dealing a mortal strike.
Later on in the Arms Talent tree you will see Disarming Glare which will cause your target to be disarmed and cower in fear for 5 or 10 seconds, depending on how many points you dump into it. The tree is rounded out by Bladestorm.
For those remembering how hard it was to decide between two-handed weapons or dual specialization for your Warrior, remember you can pickup Dual Talent specialization for 100 gold now. This way you can pick up the Arms Talent tree and add another to satisfy your need.
